Stamp of a Sea Rescue Society

Sea Rescue Society of Aland Island has released a new stamp commemorating the 5oth Anniversary of the service it has provided to the seafarers. Aland Island is part of a Group of islands which comes in the region of Finland. Sailing is the most popular leisure activity.

The Aland Res Rescue Society was, hence, formed, which has completed 50 years of its service. This occasion was commemorated with the release of a stamp. Designed by Jonas Wilen, the stamp features a dramatic design of a Boat Rescuing a drowning woman.

This non – profit making organization works within 6 zones undertaking many more activities.
